Cambridge BID arranges for the installation of Christmas lights at key locations in the BID Area to ensure that Cambridge remains a vibrant.

An event for members of the public to signify the start of Christmas season we hold two switch on event one at the train station and one in the City Center

Cambridge BID worked with Wild in Art and Break to provid a public art event that entertained, enriched, informed and left a lasting legacy for Cambridge. We look forward to doing more with them.

Make Music Day

Make Music Day is the UK’s largest single-day music festival, encouraging musicians, producers, promoters and music lovers to collaborate and organise in-person and online performances in and for their communities

 

Window Wanderland

Cambridge BID is bringing the Window Wanderland community arts project to Station Road, a key gateway into Cambridge for many including tourists and commuters.

 

Wimbledon

In 2018 Cambridge BID introduced a new event to the city, a large LED screen showing the full BBC coverage of Wimbledon in the CB1 area.

Book Benches

Summer 2022 Cambridge BID were thrilled to be working with Wild in Art and have installed 12 Book Benches sculptures across the city, all individually designed by UK artists.

 

City Ambassadors

Cambridge BID provides a team of professional & passionate City Ambassadors, who are available within the City Centre and train station to help, advise & guide users

 

CB1 Estate is fully supportive of the Cambridge BID initiative to extend its reach to include CB1 and Cambridge Station. The BID objective to better integrate the growing Central Business District with the city core will be positive for Cambridge as a whole - and the timing aligns well with maturity of the CB1 scheme.
