6pm - Paddington Lost in Peru

In partnership with CB1 Community, we are brining Paddington to the CB1 area.  Paddington in Peru (2024) is the third instalment in the beloved Paddington film series. Directed by Dougal Wilson, the film follows Paddington and the Brown family as they journey to Peru in search of Paddington's missing Aunt Lucy. Upon arrival, they learn that Aunt Lucy has vanished, leaving behind only her glasses and bracelet. The Browns embark on a thrilling adventure through the Amazon rainforest, guided by a mysterious map that leads them to Rumi Rock. Along the way, they encounter new characters, including the enigmatic Reverend Mother (Olivia Colman) and the roguish riverboat captain Hunter Cabot (Antonio Banderas). Their quest intertwines with the legend of El Dorado, a mythical city of gold, leading to unexpected revelations about Aunt Lucy's past and the origins of the marmalade-loving bears.

25th July  - Market Square

6pm – Dogman

When a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner are injured together on the job, a harebrained but life-saving surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve—and fetch, sit and roll over. As Dog Man embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, Free Guy), he must stop the pretty evil plots of feline supervillain Petey the Cat (Pete Davidson; Saturday Night Live, The King of Staten Island). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself, creating the kitten Lil Petey, to double his ability to do crime stuff. Things get complicated, though, when Lil Petey forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man. When Lil Petey falls into the clutches of a common enemy, Dog Man and Petey reluctantly join forces in an action-packed race against time to rescue the young kitten. In the process, they discover the power of family (and kittens!) to bring even the most hostile foes together.

8pm – The Fall Guy

He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?

29th August – Market Square

6pm - The Wild Robot

The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot—ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.

8pm - Captain America – A Brave New World

Enter a brave new world. Anthony Mackie returns as the high-flying hero Sam Wilson, who’s officially taken up the mantle of Captain America. After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

3rd September - Train Station (next to The Clayton Hotel)

6pm - Wicked

Our last film event of 2025, in partnership with CB1 Community and ahead of the second instalment due for release in November, we bring you Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Emmy, Grammy and Tony winning powerhouse Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, Broadway’s The Colour Purple) as Elphaba, a young woman, misunderstood because of her unusual green skin, who has yet to discover her true power, and Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and global superstar Ariana Grande as Glinda, a popular young woman, gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart. The two meet as students at Shiz University in the fantastical Land of Oz and forge an unlikely but profound friendship. Following an encounter with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, their friendship reaches a crossroads and their lives take very different paths. Glinda's unflinching desire for popularity sees her seduced by power, while Elphaba's determination to remain true to herself, and to those around her, will have unexpected and shocking consequences on her future. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
