Free Outdoor Cinema Returns to Cambridge This August

Cambridge BID's popular Screens in the City outdoor cinema is back this August, bringing four days of free family-friendly film screenings to two unique city centre locations.

Thursday 13 August

·       1pm – The Snail and the Whale

·       2pm – Dog Man

·       4pm – Zootropolis 2

·       6.30pm – Back to the Future

CAMBRIDGE BID, CAMBAC and CGL are delighted to invite you and your team to a FREE training event designed to strengthen confidence, knowledge, and practical skills when working with problematic drug and alcohol use. Taking place on Tuesday 30th June 2026, this session will support you and your team to better understand substance use, respond safely and effectively, and build stronger pathways into local support services.

As part of Cambridge Food & Drink Week (9–17 May 2026), Cambridge BID, in partnership with Elle Events Management, will host a dedicated Hospitality Panel Event bringing together a range of perspectives from across the sector.

Taking place on Tuesday 12 May from 5:30pm at Town and Gown, the event, “25 Years of Change and the Future of the Hospitality Industry”, will create space for open conversation around how the industry has evolved and what the future may look like.
