Cambridge BID has teamed up with local illustrator and designer, Lele Saa, to produce a fun and quirky new leaflet especially for workers and commuters in the city. The leaflets will be delivered to offices and places of work, during World Wellbeing Week (June 24th – 30th) to help businesses spark important conversations with their employees about what it means to live and work in healthy balance.
The leaflet, beautifully illustrated in Lele’s feel-good style, features Welby the Wellbeing Pup, and highlights places in the city where people can unwind—from peaceful green spaces and riverside walks to independent cafés perfect for a mindful coffee break. It also spotlights local businesses offering wellbeing services, such as yoga studios, massage therapists, and healthy exercise. The project aims to encourage people working in the city to take time out during their busy days to look after their mental and physical wellbeing, while also supporting the local economy.
Jenny Granshaw, Project Manager at Cambridge BID says: “Partnering with Lele was a natural fit—her style brings joy, and as a local artist she understands what makes Cambridge special. The outcome is a pocket-sized reminder that in the middle of a busy city, moments of calm and connection can be found.”
For Lele Saa, the collaboration was about creating a practical tool that also sparks a smile: “We wanted to create something that promotes wellbeing, but also celebrates what makes Cambridge such a brilliant place to live and work. I know how important those little moments of calm are in a busy day. It was a joy to draw the places in Cambridge that I, and so many others, find comfort in.”
