Got a uniform that's seen better days? Whether it’s worn knees or the dreaded cyclist’s crotch, help is at hand — and it’s sustainable too! As part of Summer in the Square, the Cambridgeshire Repair Café Network is bringing its brilliantly titled Cambridge Crotch Workshop to Station Square on Wednesday 30 July, 4:30–6:30pm.
This fun, free drop-in session is all about giving your clothes a second life. Bring along a pair of jeans, work trousers, or any well-worn favourite and learn from the Repair Café’s amazing volunteer team how to patch them up with pride.
Even better — Cambridge BID will collect your workplace uniforms and take them to be repaired for you! Just email jenny.granshaw@cambridgebid.co.uk to arrange collection.
Don’t miss this chance to learn a new skill, be planet-friendly, and support circular fashion in the city.
