What is the Project?

This Summer you can enjoy our pop-up parklet at Station Square, featuring a photography exhibition from the 2026 Cambridge Arts Festival Competition with Campkins Cameras. Every Thursday in July we are presenting Summer in the Square, our pop up FREE music events in collaboration with CB1 Community. The popular series transforms Station Square into a vibrant after-work destination with live music, entertainment, pop-ups and activities designed to bring people together and celebrate the summer season in Cambridge

Who does it benefit?

Summer in the Square benefits everyone passing Station Square but in particular it provides workers in the area with somewhere nice to sit and have their lunch during the summer months. Thursday in July aim to encourage people to stay longer in the area, enjoy the music and purchase food and drinks from the local BID area businesses.

Project Status

The Summer Parklet was installed in May and will hopefully be in place until October. Our Thursday Evening Summer in the Square line up will be published shortly.
