Halloween Film & Activity Day -Event Wrap-Up Report
Cambridge BID delivered a family-friendly Halloween Film & Activity Day at The Grafton, transforming the centre into a lively and welcoming destination for families during the half-term period.
The event featured three free film screenings, face painting and glitter tattoos, and a Halloween window display competition for retailers across the centre.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Cambridge Arts Festivalfor its 3rd year! Delivered by Cambridge BID, the festival will once again shine a spotlight on the extraordinary creativity and talent that make our city so special.
This year’s programme promises something for everyone — from exhibitions and workshops to hands-on activities and family-friendly fun, in venues across the city. Staying true to our ethos, most of the programme will be free to attend, making art accessible for all.
Collaborating for Cambridge: Youth Lab Project
On Thursday 21st August, Cambridge BID partnered with the Cambridge Film Festival Youth Lab to deliver a day of creative content production as part of our festival sponsorship. The initiative challenged young filmmakers to produce short videos that promote Cambridge as an overnight destination – highlighting everything from “24 Hours in Cambridge” experiences, to food and drink trails and hidden gems across the city.

The initiative aimed to increase footfall, drive business engagement, and inspire residents and visitors to discover new venues across Cambridge.

Got a uniform that's seen better days? Whether it’s worn knees or the dreaded cyclist’s crotch, help is at hand — and it’s sustainable too! As part of Summer in the Square, the Cambridgeshire Repair Café Network is bringing its brilliantly titled Cambridge Crotch Workshop to Station Square on Wednesday 30 July, 4:30–6:30pm.
Art Club returns for 2025/26
Cambridge BID relaunched its monthly Art Club series with the first event of the 2025/26 year on Thursday 3rd July 2025. The evening, titled The Art of Resistance in a Digital Age, featured guest speaker Adele Zeynep Walton, an author and online safety advocate, marking a key stop on her UK book tour. The session explored the human cost of digital life, its impact on mental health and literacy.
World Well-being Week in Cambridge
Cambridge BID has teamed up with local illustrator and designer, Lele Saa, to produce a fun and quirky new leaflet especially for workers and commuters in the city. The leaflets will be delivered to offices and places of work, during World Wellbeing Week (June 24th – 30th) to help businesses spark important conversations with their employees about what it means to live and work in healthy balance.
